About This Blog

I believe, like Peter Drucker, that there is nothing so useless as doing well that which should not be done at all. My purpose is to celebrate what works and to hack what dosen't.

If I'm fortunate to have readers, they'll note several themes. Complexity and non-linearity, to me, describe our modern, networked way of life. I value those who have a multi-discipline approach.

Although I call this a personal development blog, I don't propose to be a life coach or a performance guru. Others are far better. This blog is for my development; to be a better thinker, and a better writer.

How this blog will evolve is a mystery, echoing the Japanese proverb that "an inch ahead is darkness." Or in terms of motorcycle physics, "What's the shortest distance between two points? Who cares."
